The Official Pembroke Boats Website

Established in the late 1940's by Gerald Elwell  Pembroke Boats Inc. built approximately fifteen hundred high quality wooden boats before ending its production run and going out of business in 1969. This Website is dedicated to maintaining and preserving the history of  Pembroke Boats and to  share information on the boats that were made and those that are still in existence.

Most of the information is in the form of photographs and old sales flyers. Technical specs and plans are no longer available.  The history of the boats comes from word of mouth recollections obtained from the craftsmen and their friends and families.

Links are available to point to areas of interest for current owners, wooden boat aficionados and those of you who dream of owning one of the last remaining Pembroke Boats. This site is currently under construction and will be continually updated... Visit regularly.
